Dogs are invited for a howling good time. Owners are invited, too. All proceeds from this fun event benefit HALO, which stands for Hood County Animal Lovers Organization. The costume contest starts at 1:30 PM. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in 3 categories: cutes, most original and best ensemble. Some examples of the best "owner/Pet ensemble": chef and lobster, a dog walking a dog, and last years winner was a pair of punk rockers. If your dog is shy and doesn't want to dress up, that's ok. Naked dogs wearing nothing but a collar and a leash can still come to trick or treat and enjoy the day. Shad Ramsey will be on hand to take professional pet photographs. Other attractions include vendor booths, pet adoptions and a pet psychic.
Entry fee into the festival is $5.00 per dog (cash or check only). Additional activities fees (optional) include a $5.00 entry fee for the costume contest, $10.00 pet psychic and professional photographs for $15.00.
