DESCRIPTION:With the holiday season approaching\, Tarleton State University's Staff Council plans its 24th Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Showcase to support local businesses and artisans on Friday\, Dec. 8.\n\n \n\nShoppers should note the Holiday Showcase's new location this year. Hosted in the Recreational Sports Center on Rome Avenue on the Stephenville campus\, the showcase is open to shoppers from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.\n\n \n\nThis year's event offers a chance to shop favorite returning vendors as well as new ones. More than 60 multi-talented vendors will sell a variety of arts\, crafts and tasty treats. According to Desa Rowe\, chair of Tarleton Staff Council's Holiday Showcase committee\, holiday shoppers will find a variety of fare\, including woodcrafts\, handmade craft items\, food\, clothing\, jewelry\, vinyl decals\, wreaths\, books and fine art. There will be plenty of unique gifts to help complete your holiday shopping list.\n\n\n\nThe annual event supports the employee scholarships and grants program.
