SUMMARY:50 Fellas Foodfest
DESCRIPTION:50 Fellas Foodfest raises money for the Granbury ISD Education Foundation: The event is 50 teams of 2 men that will prepare an appetizer\, entree\, or dessert of their choice and serve in bite-sized samples. Revolver Beer\, wine\, Chicken Express tea\, and water will be served. We will have music and a Silent Auction during the sampling event. Some of our cooks are Dr Largent the GISD Superintendent\, men from each school campus\, Mayor Nin Hulett\, City Councilmen\, and Businessmen in the community. The foods will be judged by popular vote of those who attend the event. Last years event was a huge success. We raised a little over $60\,000 and had over 600 people at the event.\n\n \n\nThe GISD Education Foundation (GEF) is an all-volunteer and self-funded board. Contributions by the Board of Directors cover all the administrative costs of the board and this event. We are happy to report that 100% of every donation received will go towards Innovative Teaching Grants\, recognition of Academic Excellence\, and Recognition of Teaching Excellence. The GEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
