SUMMARY:7th Annual 50 Fellas Foodfest
DESCRIPTION:50 Fellas Foodfest is the GISD Education Foundation's fundraising event of the year. It is a competition between 50 teams of two men that prepare and serve an appetizer\, entr e\, or dessert of their choice in small one-bite samples. Adult beverages\, tea\, and water will be included. There will be music and entertainment during the food sampling. Food will be judged by popular vote of those in attendance. Cooks range from district administrators and men from each school campus to elected officials and businessmen in the community. Food will be judged by popular vote of those in attendance. Come join in all the fun for a great cause! There is a limit of 700 tickets for the event. Sponsorship packages are also available. Proceeds from the event will benefit the education foundation\, which funds innovative teaching grants and the annual academic recognition banquet.
