SUMMARY:7th Annual 5K Ghost Run and 1K Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:For most\, October is the month of joyful antics\, Halloween\, and Octoberfest.  For Mission Granbury\, October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month\, and a time to bring awareness to survivors and celebrate the lives lost through Domestic Violence. To show support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month\, we wear purple. Purple symbolizes power\, nobility\, and ambition and by wearing this color as a community we continue to support the message to end the violence by refusing to stay silent. Thank you for your continued support for Mission Granbury's Ghost Run\, and running to light the path for those who remain in the dark. \n\nProceeds from the 7th Annual Ghost Run will support Mission Granbury's nine programs that continue to service adults and children who have endured hardships by providing assistance. \n\nThe Ghost Run is chip timed by Race Day Event Services with medals for those placing 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd in each division. There will be special trophies for Overall 5K Male/Female\, Masters(40+) Male/Female\, Grand Masters(50+) Male/Female\, and Participation Medals for all.  \n\nStart time is 6:00pm beginning at Hewlett Park on Pearl St. across from the Granbury City Beach.  \n\nFunky Munky Shaved Ice will be on hand\, and Hank FM will be joining us also!
