Jones) will host an informational session for students interested in becoming teachers on Tuesday\, June 4 at 5:30 PM.\n\n\n\nDr. Deborah Banker\, Associate Professor of Education\, will present information regarding the Tarleton State University education program. Dr. Zinab Mu oz will also provide details regarding Texas Tech University's "Teach Across Texas program\," a fast-track\, one-year teacher preparation initiative.\n\n \n\nRepresentatives from WC's Education Department will also be available to address how earning an Associate of Arts in Teaching at WC will prepare students to transition seamlessly into university teacher education programs.\n\n\n\nIn addition\, a WC alumnis and current educator will share her experiences regarding this rewarding profession.\n\n \n\nFor more information\, call 817-598-6339 or 817-579-9188.
