DESCRIPTION:Seats are limited!\n\nBut there are a few seats left and we are extending the deadline so you can register for the 2025 Citizens Police Academy Alumni Program.\n\n\n\nThis is a rare opportunity for your local GPD to give the public a glimpse of their extensive training and a birds eye view of what they encounter daily while keeping Granbury safe.\n\nGPD Officers will be opening up a whole new world for you\, by illustrating the daily life of a Peace Officer\, the types of training required to keep everyone and the community safe\, responses to issues they encounter\, the extensive training they must maintain\, along with the incredible K9 abilities and the daily hazards they face in our community. They are the ever present guard dog\, that allow us to safely go about our day.\n\nThursday\, March 27th\, kicks off the 2025 CPAA Class. \n\nSign up and come join us at the Granbury Police Department. 2050 NE Loop 567. \n\nThis 10 week program has meals provided by CPAA Members\; and at the completion of the course\, offers you opportunities to join the GPD Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association to support your Officers and Community\, apply for the COPs/Citizens On Patrol Program\, or share your experience to encourage others to join us in 2026.\n\n\n\nhttps://cpaalumni.org/application-form/
