Bootleggers\, prostitutes\, card sharks\, and outlaws have all called Hill House home. Built-in 1890 for one of the Founding Families\, the home later became a makeshift hospital. Native Americans frequented the caves here known as East Mountain\, where it is rumored the outlaw Sam Bass hid his gold and a jewel thief lost his life. Take time to sit and deal a hand of cards with the long-dead in the Scratcher Room. Due to high activity levels\, the home has become a world-renowned paranormal site.
