DESCRIPTION:The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that breastfeeding continue for at least 12 months\, and thereafter for as long as mother and baby desire. At Lake Granbury Medical Center\, we realize that even with nature's best intentions\, this isn't always the easiest task for all new mothers. For this reason\, we offer caring\, experienced breastfeeding support to moms and babies who need a little extra help.\n\nThe class and support group offers:\n\n\n	Help with common breastfeeding issues and concerns\n	Opportunity to connect with other breastfeeding moms\n	Breastfeeding education provided by a member of the nursing staff at Lake Granbury Medical Center\n\n\nThis group is for breastfeeding moms and their babies and for pregnant women who are considering breastfeeding.
