DESCRIPTION:The Granbury Chamber of Commerce welcomes John Fletcher with Fletcher Consulting Public Relations. Fletcher is a recovering adman\, having been a broadcaster for 15 years before shifting to the marketing/public relations side of the business as owner of his own advertising and public relations firm. \n\n\n\nHe is extremely familiar with he local chambers of commerce\, having served on the board of five different chambers in extremely active capacities. He became the Godfather of the HEB (Hurst\, Euless\, Bedford) Chamber for leading his team to win the 2017 membership drive\, and also won a membership drive competition in Cleburne - breaking a tie by selling tow memberships from his bed while fighting pneumonia on New Year's Eve. \n\n\n\nJohn is a huge advocate of leadership\, having graduated from Leadership Waco and later creating the curriculum and directing Leadership Colleyville over a four-year period. He is a 2019 graduate of Leadership North Texas\, which is a regional program created and managed by the North Texas Commission. \n\n\n\nJohn recognizes the charm and value of living in smaller communities\, as a former resident of Cleburne where he was partner and a general manager of KCLE radio. There\, he received the Abe Lincoln Award as the top radio broadcaster in America for community service. He moved to Waco\, where he led KJNE-FM radio to become the market leader before selling the station. \n\n\n\nFollowing his broadcasting career\, John served as executive producer of the Baylor Radio Network\, where he more than doubled the number of radio stations carrying Baylor football and basketball. \n\n \nToday\, John operates his company\, Fletcher Consulting Public Relations\, in Hurst.
