SUMMARY:DECORATED BIKE CONTEST
DESCRIPTION:The annual Tom Ward Decorated Bike Contest will begin at 9:00am sharp at the former GISD Admin Building parking lot located at the corner of Pearl and Hannaford Streets (across from Joe's Pasta & Pizza). This year\, there are five age group categories:  0-3 years of age (participation ribbon and gift   great for little ones needing help from parents/grandparents)\; 4-5 years of age\; 6-8 years of age\; 9-11 years of age\; and\, 12-14 years of age.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place in age groups 4 and up. There is no entry fee and no registration is required.  All bike contestants will join the Hometown Parade along the way to the Historic Square after the contest.  Parents must accompany their children along the parade route.
