DESCRIPTION:Tarleton State University's W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas is hosting two summer Discovery Days\, June 27 and July 25\, 2018. Children entering kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to the museum for hands-on science experiments\, history and art. Gordon Center Discovery Day features two sessions\, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM for kindergartners through second graders\, and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM for third through fifth graders.\n\n \n\nThe activity lineup features:\n\n	Learning about artifacts and what museums do\;\n	Creating your own "artifact" with clay\; and\n	Science experiments about alternative energy. \n\nThe event is free and parents are invited to join their children for the day.
