DESCRIPTION:Come out to visit this special presentation of Field of Flags\, where hundreds of flags will fly on Highway 377 during Memorial Day weekend. This is a wonderful opportunity to visibly honor and remember all of our military and first responders\, past and present. Buy a flag & honor our United States Military and First Responders all proceeds go to support veterans and their families in Hood County. To purchase a flag see Field of Flags website\, click here\, or go to Visit Granbury at City Hall. The flags will fly throughout the whole Labor Day weekend.\n\n\n\nMemorial Day Opening Ceremony will be on Monday\, May 28\, 2018 at 8:45 AM at 561 North Travis Street. The Opening Ceremony will be followed by a "Remembrance Walk to the Square" with a drum cadence and bagpipe accompaniment among a path lined with flags. Offsite parking with trolley service to the ceremony site will be provided. Memorial Day Ceremony will be on the Main Stage of the Historic Granbury Square at 10:00 AM.  The Field of Flags Closing Ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM at 3602 East Highway 377.
