DESCRIPTION:Visit Granbury is challenging our Granbury community\, civic organizations\, charitable organizations\, and brave individuals to help us kick-off the Winter Guest tourism season (January - February) by jumping into the frigid waters of Lake Granbury on Saturday\, January 4th at City Beach Park. This is the first-ever Lake Granbury Goosebump Jump event!\n\n\n\nThe event is sponsored by the Granbury Area Lodging Association and Visit Granbury along with several corporate sponsors. It is a friendly competition with funds raised from the $10 registration fee along with a $1\,000 prize generously provided by the lodging association to be awarded to the 501C3 organization that signs up the largest number of participants.\n\n\n\nJudges will award trophies to winning participants for the best costume representing Granbury\, best overall costume\, longest distance traveled\, and the oldest participant to take the plunge. You can register family and friends to join your organizations' team or come as an individual.\n\n\n\nThe first 200 participants to register online or in person at the event will receive a souvenir Lake Granbury Goosebump Jump 2020 medal and towel.
