DESCRIPTION:The fourth annual Lone Star Guitar Festival and Competition comes to Weatherford College this weekend\, June 8-10. In addition to the competition\, master classes and a vendor expo hosted in the Alkek Fine Arts Center\, the public is invited to attend a variety of concerts.\n\n\n\nThe weekend starts with a performance by Jeff McFadden of Canada at 7:30 PM Friday at the North Side Baptist Church. Saturday's concert lineup includes Steve Cowan of Canada at 2:00 PM. The concert series continues Saturday evening with Candice Mowbray of the USA in a duo concert with An Tran of Vietnam at 7:30 PM. The festival wraps up on Sunday with the Lone Star Guitar Competition finals at 2:00 PM in the Alkek Fine Arts Center.
