DESCRIPTION:Organized by WC's classical guitar instructor Will Douglas\, the third annual Lone Star Guitar Festival and Competition promises four days of classes and concerts by some of the best classical guitarists in the world.\n\n\n\n"It takes a lot of work and a lot of effort to reach that level\," Douglas said. "So\, in any community there are only so many people who put in that kind of work and dedicate their lives to that kind of pursuit. At a certain point you have to start looking outside the community and outside the state."\n\n\n\nThis year's artist lineup includes the Canadian Azuline Duo comprised of Emma Rush and Sara Traficante\, Rene Izquierdo of Cuba\, Celil Refik Kaya of Turkey\, Matthew McAllister of Scotland\, Tim Phelan of Canada\, Hector Torres of Puerto Rico and many additional Texas artists.
