SUMMARY:Moonshine at Sunset
DESCRIPTION:Historic Granbury\, Texas\, known as one of the "the Best Small Towns in Texas"\, will be hosting the "Moonshine at Sunset" for the first time on October 5th\, 2019\n\n.\n\nThe event will be held at the new Sledge Distillery located in Granbury\, Texas on Hwy 51 South. Heavy hors d'oeuvres start at 3:00 PM\, staff will provide tours of the distillery from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM while guests mingle. Live auction will be in the main hall beginning at 6PM. In addition to gourmet appetizers and tours\, guests will have the opportunity to sample the legendary Moonshine created by Dub Sledge. Dub's pecan infused whiskey and Spirit of '42 products have garnered national acclaim. They are rich in tradition and flavor. Sledge Distillery carries on the tradition using the same family recipes dating back to WWII. All of the spirits are hand crafted on site at a unique fully working cattle ranch and distillery.\n\n\n\nTo enhance the patron's experience there will be live musicians performing during the event. After the event stay for more fun as the distillery opens to the public at 7:00 PM and the live music continues until late in the evening.\nProceeds from the event will go to Preserve Granbury\, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to preserve and promote the historic integrity of Granbury and the surrounding area.
