DESCRIPTION:The Hood County Library is pleased to host the Pecan Valley Centers' Post Traumatic Stress discussion group\, supported by the Military Veterans Peer Network (MVPN) The group meets at 6:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Here are some facts about the meetings:\n\n*They are over at 7:00 PM\n\n*You don't have to talk--you can just listen\n\n*Your attendance is strictly confidential\n\n*No red tape--you don't have to join anything\n\n*Facilitators are trained and approved to conduct such groups\n\n*Discussions are informally guided by written material provided by the instructors and staff who trained the facilitators\n\n*If you're a combat veteran and feel you're fine (no PTSD) come anyway and share how you got readjusted to "civilian" life\n\nWe look forward to seeing you at the library.
