DESCRIPTION:Balance your Easter treats by kicking off the weekend with some exercise! On the morning of Saturday\, April 13\, the Granbury Parks and Recreation Department will host the Run for Your PEEPS 5K Walk/Run. Because the mission of this event is to encourage individuals\, old and young\, to get active and to support their 'PEEPS\,' or fellow community members\, a portion of the proceeds will be gifted to a local charity.\n\n\n\nPacket pickup and sign in on the day of the race begins at 7:00 AM\, and the Walk/Run will begin at 8:00 AM. The race starts and ends at the Dana Vollmer Municipal Swim Center (400 N Park St). For a map of the race course\, visit www.granbury.org/DocumentCenter/View/6735. \n\n \n\nIncluded with the cost of registration for all participants is a finisher's medal. The first 60 registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt. The fastest male and female finisher in each age group will be awarded a trophy.
