The cabin received a Texas Historical Marker in 1982. Other restored buildings include the 1918 Shaw-Kemp Ranch House\, Mt. Nebo School\, Church\, Grocery Store\, Post Office\, Barber Shop and Sheriff's Office. Visitors are encouraged to bring snack foods and cold drinks. No Alcohol is allowed.
