DESCRIPTION:Weatherford College presents "The Christians" April 27-30 in the Alkek Fine Arts Center. Show times for this drama are 7:30 p.m. Thursday\, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.\n\n\n\n"A minister faces his congregation with some very unsettling news that he believes God has given to him to pass on to his congregation\," explained Director Nancy McVean. "The news is disturbing and the reaction is enormous." The central cast of five actors is supported by a choir comprised of students and community members as well as piano and cello accompanists.\n\n"This amazing cast will touch your hearts and create sleepless nights thinking about this message\," McVean said. "Believe or not\, it is thought provoking."\n\n\n\nFollowing the Sunday matinee\, leaders from three area churches will lead a discussion on the play. Opinions are welcome.
