DESCRIPTION:The 1st Young Professionals Summit is a half-day conference focused on developing future leaders by providing ambitious young professionals the opportunity to build relationships\, engage in transformative learning opportunities\, and interact with civic and business leaders.\n\n\n\nOur keynote speakers include Drew Myers - Drew Myers is an enlivener and a story seeker. He gives others the opportunity to share their story - with the hopes that they also embrace their story. Trhough his podcasts and speaking engagements\, he showcases and celebrates individuals who have given themselves permission to live radically honest lives\, pursue their dreams and live on purpose.\n\n\n\nTeena Putteet Conway\, Cresson Mayor - Teena Putteet Conway is a native of Cresson\, Texas\, having gone to school for two years in the Cresson Historic school that is now a museum. She is a Granbury High School Graduate as well as earning a BBA from Baylor University.  After marrying and raising her family in the DFW metroplex\, she returned to her hometown after being gone for 40 years. Teena took office in May 2020\, after having ran unopposed for former longtime Mayor Bob Cornett who retired.
