VFW Post 7835 presents a memorial service honoring first responders and remembering those who were lost on 9/11. A brief ceremony will include local dignitaries and first responders of Hood County. There will also be a motorcycle brigade from the VFW on Highway 377 West to the parking lot at Texana Plaza.

The ride will commence at the VFW Post located at 3670 Highway 377 and will end at the parking lot of Texana Plaza, located at 911 East Highway 377. There will be a short ceremony following with guest speakers that include Mayor Nin Hulett, Sheriff Roger Deeds, and Hood County Commissioner Steve Berry. There will be patriotic music as we honor first responders and those we lost on 9/11.
We ask the public to join us in honoring all those mentioned by lining Highway 377 along the motorcade route leading up to the ceremony. Bring your celebratory signs of appreciation and your flags to show your support!
