A community education series hosted by the Granbury Housing Authority in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service & the Better Living for Texans program. Learn how changing small everyday decisions can lead to big changes for your mental and physical health.
Better Living for Texans (BLT) is a cooperative endeavor between Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service. Since 1994, the program has been serving limited income families throughout Texas. The primary BLT audience is comprised of SNAP recipients in addition to families participating in the Head Start program, WIC, individuals receiving TANF, SSI and individuals receiving food from food panties.
