ANC Community Lecture Series presents "Introduction to Backyard Composting" featuring Kristina Del Pino Borgstrom

Come join the introductory class on composting around your home!

The ANC Lecture Series presents, "Introduction to Backyard Composting" featuring Kristina Del Pino Borgstrom on October 1st, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Opal Durant Acton Community Center located at 6430 Smokey Hill Court, Granbury, Texas 76049.   

Participants will learn what ingredients can be composted and how to tweak a compost recipe to achieve a usable product for your indoor and outdoor plants.  

This lecture will include some hands-on exploration learning.  

Kristina Del Pino Borgstrom, a member of the Rio Brazos Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists, is a nature enthusiast who enjoys finding ways to offset human impacts on the ecosystem.  She will be sharing her experiences with the Texas Star Master Composting Program which included large and small-scale composting.
