Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office in Hood County is hosting a Dinner Tonight Healthy Cooking School. The theme of this year’s Healthy Cooking School is “Path to the Plate.” In addition to cooking demonstrations, presenters will discuss the important role agriculture plays in proper nutrition and dispel common myths about food production. The Culinary Arts students will be demonstrating and sharing their expertise on different menu ideas. Kelli Brown, Hood County AgriLife Extension Agent will be demonstrating as well as the Hood County Master Gardeners.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM for participants to make their way through the vendors in attendance as well as sample dishes that are in the cookbook that each participant will take home. Demonstrations and program will begin at 6:45 PM. Click here to purchase tickets.
