Come and enjoy an evening of classical guitar with Eliza Balmuth and Steffano Vivaldini at the Langdon Center Concert Hall.
Eliza Balmuth (b. 1999) is a classical guitarist from Granbury, TX. She currently studies at Oberlin College and Conservatory under Steve Aron. Since 2009 Eliza has regularly performed and attended festivals in the United States and abroad, including, among others, Cleveland International Classical Guitar Festival. Recipient of the Roz Rosenthal Award for Outstanding Student in Music, she has won top prizes in national and international youth competitions including the Columbus State Guitar Symposium, Texas Guitar Festival, East Carolina University Summer Guitar Festival, and Long Island Guitar Festival.
Stefano Vivaldini started his formal music training with Eleonora Pasquali at Liceo Musicale "Antonio Stradivari" in Cremona, Italy. He was awarded second prize in both 2015 and 2016 at the international guitar competition "Borguitar Contest" and the national guitar competition. Stefano is a guitarist, music composer, playwright, actor, and conductor. He has composed music and written scripts for several plays. Along with Stefano's studies as a guitar performer, he dedicates himself to composition. He writes pieces for different ensembles, especially with regard to his instrument, classical guitar.
