Tarleton State University’s School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Strategic Studies will host a free, all-day conference—“Leadership for Law Enforcement in the Post-Ferguson Era”—April 27.
The conference takes place at the Texas A&M University School of Law, 1515 Commerce St., in downtown Fort Worth. Registration begins at 8 a.m. outside the second floor conference center. Participants who stay for the day will receive credit from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).
Retired U.S. Marine Maj. Gen. James Williams is keynote speaker for the conference, and Howard Cross—with Howard Cross & Associates—will discuss “Sharing the Weight: Leadership Strategies for Increasing Ownership.”
