In May 2022, we announced Human Intelligence as the theme for Leadercast 2023.
When we did, we knew human relationships and emotional intelligence were essential for effective leadership.
In the midst of the AI revolution, HI is as critical as ever.
We knew our best leaders had put us first, kept us focused, challenged us to improve, encouraged us when we felt dismayed, and acknowledged our lives beyond our jobs. And we wanted to see more of that in the world!
We didn’t know how relevant human intelligence would be in 2023–a year dominated by the artificial intelligence (AI) discussion.
From ChatGPT to tech leaders calling for a pause in the ‘out of control’ AI race, the existential question of computer-generated learning is everywhere.
Is AI a profound risk to society and humanity?
We don’t know.
But we know that leadership is always about humans helping humans.
It’s about building trust, treating one another well, building bridges through communication, and accomplishing dreams and visions together. It’s about appropriately using tools and tactics for the greater good.
That’s why we are excited about this year's event. Our speakers are eight prominent leaders who embody the characteristics of human intelligence. They will share their wisdom--inspiring us to lead others with dignity and respect.
Our presenters are different. Their areas of expertise are varied, and together they create a world-class line-up for this powerful experience.
