The Granbury Living Christmas Cards is an outdoor, interactive family event on the historic town square. Sponsored by Lakeside Baptist Church, the event features eight "larger than life" Christmas cards that are 10 to 12 feet high and 16 to 24 feet wide. The art featured on both side of the cards was painted by renowned artist James Spurlock. This holiday extravaganza is a free family event. While the cards may be viewed during the day, the real magic happens Friday and Saturday nights. Larger-than-life thematic hand-painted Christmas Cards come to life with live actors, dancers, and singers. The festivities will take you on whirlwind tour from sleigh bells and chestnuts to the Bethlehem manger. "The cards stay put, but the audience moves around each card every eight minutes, said Carey Dyer, LBC worship pastor and creator of the event. Hope you'll consider us a part of your holiday plans this year.
