Mothing at Acton Nature Run

Bring the kids for the “wild nightlife” at the Acton Nature Center as we explore the world of nocturnal insects!  “Moth-ers” from around the DFW area will set up light rigs to attract, observer, and document as many species as possible. There will be a FREE presentation at 8 pm at the ANC Pavilion by Sam Keischnick, DFW Urban Biologist for the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.

Wear bug repellent and closed-toed shoes, bring water, a flashlight and come see ANC at night.

Moths will seek shelter and hide in stormy, gusty conditions, so check for weather event updates.
