Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration—July 2 - 4th  
Over 40 Years of Patriotic Tradition
 
Tentative Schedule of Events:
July 2nd - Over 100 Vendors at the Square 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
                    Performances at Opera House and Granbury Live
July 3rd - Over 100 Vendors at the Square 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
                    Performances at Opera House and Granbury Live
July 4th - Over 100 Vendors at the Square 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
                    Old Fashioned Parade 10 a.m. from GHS
                         Tom Ward Decorated Bike Contest  9:00 a.m.
Judging begins on July 4^th at 9:00 a.m. at the GISD Administration parking lot on the corner of Pearl and Hannaford (across from Joe’s Pasta & Pizza).  There is no entry fee and no registration required.  Age groups are as follows:  0-3 years of age (participation ribbon and gift – great for little ones needing help from parents/grandparents); 4-5 years of age; 6-8 years of age; 9-11 years of age; and, 12-14 years of age.  Prizes will be awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place in age groups 4 and up. All bike contestants will join the Hometown Parade en route to the Historic Square after the contest. Parents must accompany their children along the parade route.
