Fall has officially arrived, along with cooler weather, football, and harvest festivals! One you won’t want to miss is Pecan's Fall Bazaar (formerly Pecan Arts & Crafts Fair), coming up Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022. Gates will be open that day for the public to attend. From 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the Pecan Activity Center (PAC) and grounds, located at 9145 Plantation Dr., Granbury (Pecan Plantation), will be transformed into celebration central! Folks will come from far and wide to enjoy this annual fair, hosted by the PPVFD/EMS Auxiliary.

A special treat that day will be live acoustic music -- both instrumental and vocals --Country, Rock, Blue Grass, Jazz and Folk -- presented by Pecan's own Eric Rohlfing on the banjo and Jim Copeland on the fiddle. Other instruments include guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Come out to enjoy these musicians while you shop!
Stay for lunch! The Auxiliary will be selling Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips, and drinks in the PAC kitchen area. Afterwards, grab a tasty shaved ice creation from Snow Belles outside on the PAC grounds.
Don’t forget that Cowtown Gold & Silver will also be buying scrap gold, silver and other precious metals (broken jewelry, tangled chains, orphaned earrings, candlesticks, flatware, etc.) throughout the day and will write the PPVD/EMS a check for 10% of the amount of gold and silver purchased. Great way to benefit our fire department and EMS while making some extra money for Christmas or vacation in these inflationary times!Date and Time
