The Hood County Library is pleased to host the Pecan Valley Centers' Post Traumatic Stress discussion group, supported by the Military Veterans Peer Network (MVPN) The group meets at 6:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Here are some facts about the meetings:
*They are over at 7:00 PM
*You don't have to talk--you can just listen
*Your attendance is strictly confidential
*No red tape--you don't have to join anything
*Facilitators are trained and approved to conduct such groups
*Discussions are informally guided by written material provided by the instructors and staff who trained the facilitators
*If you're a combat veteran and feel you're fine (no PTSD) come anyway and share how you got readjusted to "civilian" life
We look forward to seeing you at the library.
