Ramay-Macatee Speaker Series

The Bridge Street History Center presents the Ramay-Macatee Speaker Series "A Civil War Symposium". Learn from a “Dream Team” lineup of four nationally known Civil War professors, historians and authors who be speaking at an all day symposium format event. Dr. Brian S. Wills, Dr. Brooks D. Simpson, Dr. Charles D. Grear, and Dr. Steven E. Woodworth will be available to sell and sign selected books after their respective lectures. The topics being presented are relevant to the Western Theater, Texas units and even our town’s namesake, Gen. Hiram B. Granbury, who was captured at the Battle of Fort Donelson while serving as a Major in the 7th Texas Infantry.
