Safe Halloween
For 19 years the Weatherford College Police Department has hosted Safe Halloween, and what started as a small event has grown to attract approximately 7,000 people each trick-or-treat season.
Asking for donations of a can of food from each visitor and donations will be delivered to the Parker County Senior Center. Event includes a variety of booths with games, face painting, an ongoing costume contest throughout the evening and of course, candy. Community members who would like to donate bags of candy for Safe Halloween may do so at the WCPD office located in Couts Hall.
Special needs children are invited to early admission at 5:00 PM, prior to opening to the general public.
