Squeaky Clean Comedy Night

Lakeside Baptist Church is happy to be hosting the first ever “Squeaky Clean Comedy Night" on Saturday, March 5th at 6:00 PM.  This family-friendly event will feature comedian and TV personality Cleto Rodriguez.  
 
“Everyone loves to laugh”, says LBC worship pastor Carey Dyer.  “We hope that this community-wide gathering will inspire and uplift those in attendance.  Our days can be filled with stress and busy activity.  Sometimes the best thing we can do is slow down, take a deep breath and just laugh."


 
Rodriguez has been performing since 1995 and has worked with comedians George Lopez, Wayne Brady, Brett Butler, Tim Hawkins and Bob Smiley. He has even opened for living legend B.B. King.
 
Cleto currently performs nationwide in comedy clubs, corporations, colleges and churches.  “This guy is hilarious,” Dyer notes.  “We feel blessed to have him coming to Granbury to share his gift.”  
 
Also appearing that night will be funny mom and comedian Dorie Mclemore (Her claim to fame?  Falling backwards out of the bathtub while washing her children and being featured on “America’s Funniest Videos”).    
 
Dyer added, "The Bible says that ‘A cheerful heart is good medicine.’  We really hope that the community will turn out for a good dose.”
