Tarleton Wind Ensemble Presents Etude Day
The Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Anthony Pursell, will give the world premier performance of Michael Schelle’s contemporary work, Fear Strikes Out featuring Tarleton adjunct instructor of low brass Dr. William Haugeberg on trombone. Tarleton’s own Dr. Gary Westbrook will guest conduct Nathan Daughtrey’s percussion concerto, Black Rainbow featuring six students from the university’s percussion studio.
