Texas Independence Celebration, March 2, 2024, 10:00 a.m.

We would like to invite you and your family to join us at the Texas Independence Celebration on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Historic Granbury Courthouse being presented by the David Crockett Chapter of the Sons of The Republic of Texas. This includes a presentation of the events leading to Texas Independence in 1836 and multiple exhibits from the Texas Revolutionary period.

Free family-friendly event.

Doors open at 10:00 a.m. to have a look at the exhibits and at 11:00 a.m. the Celebration will begin and finish by noon.

If you are new to Texas or wish to share Texas history with your family, this will be a great way to learn Texas History.
