Formed in 2008, the Texas Guitar Quartet is hailed as “impeccable in every respect” by Classical Guitar Magazine. Throughout the United States, Central America, Spain and China, audiences embrace the foursome for their daring programs, dazzling virtuosity and joyful music making. The group has been part of the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Artist Roster since 2010. Performing with the Texas Guitar Quartet will be Tarleton’s Dr. Brian Walker on flugelhorn and Texas A&M University-Commerce’s Dr. Julee Walker on flute.
