Granbury's Hometown 4th of July Celebration is recognized as one of the most popular 4th of July Events in the nation with crowds coming form all over to admire the breathtaking fireworks and shop artisans on the square. Join us as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary!!
Event & Vendor Information
Event: Granbury’s Hometown 4th of July Celebration Event Dates: Thursday, July 4-Sunday, July 7, 2024 Event Times: Varies by day Vendors will be on the square the following dates/times: *Times are subject to change due to entertainment times. Thursday, July 4th: 9am-5pm; Friday, July 5th: 10am-5pm; Saturday, July 6th: 10am-5pm; Sunday, July 7th: 10am-4pm; Please Note: Vendor set up will be on Wednesday, July 3rd from 12-7pm with staggered times of arrival for our 4-day vendors. Vendor set up will be on Friday, July 5th from 7am-9:30am for 3-day vendors. We will need you to provide us with length of time needed for set up so we can provide you with the appropriate amount of time to do so. The day of the Parade is the busiest day for vendors on the square. This year the Parade will kick off our event and be held on Thursday, July 4th at 9am.

Vendor Agreement
Vendor Agreement: *PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING* • The festival will be located in the Historical Square of Downtown Granbury, Texas. The Hometown 4th of July Celebration is an outdoor festival and will proceed rain or shine during the following days/times: (vendor times may be subject to change as we finalize entertainment) o July 4th: 9am-5pm o July 5th: 10am-5pm o July 6th: 10am-5pm o July 7th: 10am-4pm • *VENDOR APPLICATION PROCESS & PRODUCT RULES o RETURNING VENDORS: A completed application AND payment in full must be submitted within one week of your accepted application to secure your space. o All vendor applications undergo a juried process by the vendor selection committee. This ensures the festival has a wide variety of items to showcase and to avoid too much repetition. o Offset reproductions of an artist’s original work must not compromise of more than 50% of exhibited works. o Commercial goods, mass-produced items, and buy-sell items: There will be a section of the square available for commercial sales. Space will be limited so vendors must complete the application and payment early. o Due to limited vendor space, we encourage you to apply early. Applications are open until filled. Booth fee costs are listed on the appropriate vendor application. o **YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE until we have received all forms & payment.** Payment is due upon one week of accepted application to secure your space. o RETURNING VENDOR APPLICANTS: Please note that if your application AND payment is not received within one week of your application, your vendor space will not be held. o FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS- If you are a new vendor applicant, please submit at least 5 photos of the items you wish to sell at the festival to info@granburychamber.com o Electrical is NOT guaranteed for Arts & Crafts vendors and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors are responsible for their own extension cords and power strips. Cords must be taped down. Please specify how many amps of electricity are needed if you are requesting it. o Vendors are responsible for their goods and merchandise. The vendor should maintain proper insurance coverage over merchandise and booth display/equipment. o Texas sales tax collection and payment are the vendor’s responsibility. o FOOD VENDORS: A CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL FOOD VENDORS. NO EXCEPTIONS! HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND FIRE MARSHALL RULES.  Vendors must adhere to all rules and regulations of the Health Department and Fire Marshall. All Food Vendors will be inspected before selling products and are responsible for paying appropriate fees to them.  We reserve the right to limit the number and type of food items that you may sell.  Electricity for vendors is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Electric cords must be covered at the booth and across the walkway behind the booth. Vendors are responsible for their own extension cords and power strips. Please specify how many amps of electricity are needed. We do not guarantee electricity to all booths.  If you use a trailer as your food booth, please include a photo of the trailer that shows the sale window in relation to the trailer tongue. This will help festival personnel with the load-in and set-up process.

Vendor Expectations
VENDOR EXPECTATIONS o Booths must be ready for business at least ½ hour before start of the festival. Set-up instructions will be sent in mid-June. o Vendors must comply with their specific, assigned load-in time. Early or late arrival must be permitted by the event coordinator. o Vendors are responsible for their booth set-up & supplies needed. Tents, tables, or chairs are not provided by the festival. Festival personnel are not responsible for helping with booth set-up or takedown. o Vendors/Exhibitors are responsible for the protection of their exhibits/products from the rain. o If you sell items that you have not been approved to sell you will be warned one (1) time only. The second time you will be asked to stop all sales and close your booth, with a forfeit of your space fee and you will be banned from the festival the following year. o All tents must be firmly secured in case of wind. The festival takes place on a paved surface which prohibits the anchoring of supports into the ground. A system such as buckets filled with concrete may be used. You are prohibited from driving any nails or stakes into the pavement or Courthouse lawn to anchor your tent. o Prices of all items for sale must be clearly displayed and printed or neatly written. Discount and sale signs are not allowed. o Booth appearance is extremely important to the quality of the show and your business. Displays, tents, tables, etc. must be clean and in good repair. All tables must be covered to the ground. All boxes and extra merchandise must be stored out of sight and not behind your booth. No hay, grass, or other vegetation is allowed in the booth areas. o Security will be provided on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9pm until 8am the next morning. o Booth spaces vary. All merchandise must fit INSIDE your booth. o The Chamber of Commerce and its festival committee will review all booths on the first day of the show. We reserve the right to require removal of work that does not comply with show rules or is not included in your application. o Vendors are required to remain open during advertised hours and many not leave early. They may wish to stay open later than designated festival hours, except on the last day of the festival. • CLEAN-UP/DISPOSAL REQUIREMENTS o Each vendor is responsible to clean up their booth space after the show. All trash, tape, etc. must be removed. Failure to do so will result in a $50 fine. o Food Vendors cannot dump waste, grease, etc. in streets or in storm drains. Doing so will result in fines and banishment from future events. All trash must be emptied in provided trash receptacles and dumpsters. • OTHER INFORMATION o 2024 is the 50th Annual Event featuring a parade, arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, nonprofits, live music & entertainment, and fireworks. o Entertainment will be provided by local and regional performers including bands and individuals. The events will also include a 5k, rodeo, and other fun festive contests. All entertainment schedules should be posted on our website by early June.

Vendor Load-in and Load-out Procedures
• VENDOR LOAD-IN PROCEDURES o Your booth assignment and your load in time will be sent to you prior to the event. You must let us know how long you need to unload so that we can give you the appropriate load in time. o If you will have a trailer attached to your vehicle, it is REQUIRED that you let us know the type and total length of the vehicle and trailer to help us with load-in. o No vehicles will be allowed in the festival area later than ½ hour prior to starting time. o Vendor may request booth spaces, but the Granbury Chamber of Commerce has the final say on assignment. No last minute “booth swaps” will be allowed unless arranged by the Chamber. • VENDOR LOAD-OUT PROCEDURES o Vendors shall remain open until the official end of the Festival. No vehicles shall be allowed in the festival area until after closing of the festival as this creates a huge safety concern to attendees and fellow vendors. If vendor vehicles enter the festival footprint before the close of the festival, you WILL be banned from the festival for one (1) year. o Each vendor is responsible to clean up their booth space after the show. All trash, tape, etc. must be removed. Failure to do so will result in a $50 fine and possible removal from future events.

Vendor Parking
• VENDOR PARKING o Vendor parking information will be sent with the set-up instructions in June. Parking for vendors is available near the festival footprint within a short walk. We will also have golf cart shuttles to assist with rides to and from vehicles. o Vendor vehicles will be allowed in show area during set unloading times prior to the show and set loading times after the show. No vehicles allowed during open or closed hours. Vendor parking is available just north of the square. No one is allowed to drive over the curb to get into the square. Bridge and Crockett Street will be available at designated times for vendors to unload or load necessities for the day but not available for parking at any time during the event.

Refund Policy
• A completed application and payment of fees is your commitment to show. NO refunds will be made for cancellations or removal for cause. Vendors will be notified of the received application AND acceptance of application via email. Payment will be collected after you have been notified of acceptance and must be made within one week to secure space.

SIgned Release and Vendor Application
• DISCLAIMER OF DAMAGE OR INJURY o The Granbury Chamber of Commerce Hometown 4th of July Celebration cannot be held liable for loss or damage to art, crafts, merchandise or injury to anyone participating in the event. A Certificate of Insurance is required for all food vendors and is strongly encouraged for all arts & crafts/non-profit vendors. Vendors are required to sign the Release and Acknowledgement form on the application participating. • SIGNED RELEASE AND VENDOR APPLICATION o All vendors are required to sign the Artist Release and Acknowledgement Form as part as the application process. By signing your applicable vendor application form, you are agreeing to ALL the above stated rules, guidelines & expectations of the Granbury Hometown 4th of July Celebration and as a vendor and you agree to authorize the Granbury Chamber to provide your contact information to anyone inquiring about your products during and after the festival. You are also releasing the Granbury Chamber of Commerce, the City of Granbury, and Hood County from any responsibility or liability for loss, claims, damage, theft, injury, or accident. It is further agreed that with this application, you will maintain your space, merchandise, activities, and business practices in compliance with the State of Texas and the City Ordinances of Granbury and Hood County. Applicant understands that violation of non-compliance of same may result in the immediate expulsion of the applicant and his/her exhibit from the festival. o If you violate any of the above state's rules or guidelines or create any misconduct, you may be asked to leave and may be barred from the festival for at least one (1) year.
