The Paluxy River Children’s Advocacy Center is seeking a Forensic Interviewer/Family Advocate. Seeking a tenured forensic interview for this position. No Family Advocate experience is needed. The salary will be commensurate with the level of experience. This position will be housed at our Granbury location.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Forensic Interviewer/Family Advocate works directly with alleged child victims, their non-offending families, Child Protective Investigators, Law Paluxy River Children’s Advocacy Center in Granbury is seeking a licensed mental health professional (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) with experience working with children and families impacted by sexual abuse and other trauma. Training in TF-CBT and Spanish-speaking skills are preferred but not required. Some evening hours may be required. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Therapeutic Intervention Counselor has the primary responsibility for conducting counseling sessions for children who have been abused, as well as their protective family members.
