Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at our landscape and building materials yard. This role is hands-on and customer-facing, assisting customers with product selection, loading materials, and maintaining the yard. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance
- Walk customers through the yard to identify and explain available materials
- Accurately assist with orders and product identification
- Load customer trucks and trailers safely and efficiently
- Operate a skid steer to load customers and unload semi deliveries
- Perform general yard upkeep and organization to maintain a clean, safe work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be able to work Saturdays till noon
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move 70–100 lbs consistently
- Experience operating a skid steer (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
