For the week ending September 10, 2021, there were 103 positive COVID-19 cases among Granbury ISD students and staff. There are 216 active cases with a total of 495 cases for the 2021-22 school year.
Due to privacy requirements, the school district will not release names or details that may identify these individuals.  
The district followed state and local protocols in notifying parents by email of the positive tests.
All parents, students, and staff members should remain aware of symptoms that indicate a possible COVID-19 infection: 

  • feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100º Fahrenheit
  • loss of taste or smell
  • cough
  • difficulty breathing
  • shortness of breath
  • fatigue
  • headache
  • chills
  • sore throat
  • congestion or runny nose
  • shaking or exaggerated shivering
  • significant muscle pain or ache
  • diarrhea
  • nausea or vomiting
