GRANBURY THEATRE COMPANY HOSTING EAGLES TRIBUTE FOR NEW YEAR'S EVE

GRANBURY THEATRE COMPANY HOSTING EAGLES TRIBUTE FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE

Granbury Theatre Company is hosting The Long Run, an Eagles tribute band, for concerts on December 29, 2020, through January 3, 2021. These events are sponsored by The Hyde Law Firm and Hood County News.

The Long Run is a group of professional Colorado-based musicians dedicated to the faithful reproduction of the music of America’s most iconic band.  The group offered to perform multiple concerts to benefit GTC, which has many financial needs after suspending all activities in July.

“This is one of the best tribute bands you will ever see,” commented GTC president Micky Shearon.  “These guys are incredible musicians who bring the music of The Eagles to life.”

The Long Run will perform eight Eagles tribute concerts – including two on New Year’s Eve.  Performances will be:

·         Tuesday, December 29 – 7:30pm
·         Wednesday, December 30 – 7:30pm
·         Thursday, December 31 – 7pm and 10:30pm
·         Saturday, January 2 – 2pm and 7:30pm
·         Sunday, January 3 – 2pm and 7:30pm

Tickets for the December 31st concerts are $80, and all others are $55.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Opera House will operate at 50% capacity for these concerts.  All these events will have general admission seating on a first-come, first-served basis with direction by GTC staff or ushers.  Social distancing will be emphasized with two empty seats between parties on alternating rows.  In addition, all patrons must wear masks or face coverings, which will be strictly enforced throughout the concert.

Theatrical productions at the Opera House are still suspended pending further developments with the pandemic.

Tickets are available only online on the GTC website at www.granburytheatrecompany.org.  The Opera House box office is not regularly staffed, so patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets online rather than calling.

Granbury Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that manages the Opera House, produces critically-acclaimed plays and musicals, and hosts concerts
