(Granbury, TX) Three cheers for the three-day July 4th Celebration returning Granbury’s world-famous events; parade, vendors on the Square, and the fireworks spectacular!
The Hood County Courthouse Square will host vendors, starting Friday evening, July 2nd, and throughout the day, both Saturday and Sunday. Local businesses have priority for the 50 available spaces until May 1st. After that date, the remaining slots are available to vendors outside of Hood County.
Parade participants should submit applications early, as the lineup is certain to fill quickly. The parade, set to leave Granbury High School at 10:00AM, on Saturday, July 3rd, will follow the usual route down Pearl Street, around the Granbury Square, and end just past City Hall on Bridge Street.
The “Grand Finale” of the 3-day event, will light up the skies, starting around 9:45PM, on July 4th. Extreme Pyrotechnics is back for the 47th Annual July 4th Fireworks Show. The launch location will be the same as last year, just north of the Pearl Street bridge, allowing for excellent viewing from US Highway 377, the Granbury City Beach and surrounding areas.
Incoming President and CEO of the Granbury Chamber of Commerce, Brian Bondy, shares in the community anticipation for the return of the celebration, “The Granbury Chamber is excited to bring back a full July 4th experience again this year! Our community is ready to celebrate our Country’s freedom and support the local small businesses that participate in the festivities.”
Vendor and parade applications can be found at www.granburychamber.com, starting Monday, March 29, 2021. Vendor spaces and parade slots are expected to go quickly so don’t delay!
All planned activities are subject to City and County approval and any changes in COVID-19 restrictions.
