GRANBURY CHAMBER AND UNITED WAY LAUNCH GRANT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES AND SEEK ADDITIONAL PARTNERS

Granbury, TX - To fight the economic impact that COVID-19 continues to have on Hood County small businesses, the Granbury Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the United Way of Hood County, is poised to launch the “Small Business Resiliency Program” beginning Monday, April 20th.

Built on the $100,000 donation of our founding partners, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Brumley, the program will provide qualifying Hood County small businesses with grants up to $5,000.

Criteria for acceptance:
· Business located in Hood County
· Must have a commercial site - not home based
· Demonstrated lost revenue due to COVID-19
· National Chains and franchises not eligible
· No outstanding tax liens or overdue federal, state, or local debts
· Maximum grant amount of $5,000
· Grant can be used for business expenses such as rent, payroll, utilities, equipment and operating expenses.

Applications will go live on the Chamber’s website, at noon on Monday, April 20th. To apply, visit www.granburychamber.com.

Contributions to the SBRP can be made on both the Chamber’s and United Way of Hood County’s websites.

The Small Business Resiliency Program (SBRP) Partnership Levels:
· Founding Partners - above $50,000
· Supporting Partners - $10,000 - $49,999
· Business Builder - $5,000 - $9,999
· Community Builder – below $5,000

Partners will be recognized on the Chamber’s website with updates made weekly.
